In business, where this concept came from, the business owner has to think about a solution to a problem that a "user" or customer brings to them.
In your life, the "user" or customer may be you or your friends, or you and your friends. Step 1: Empathize- understand the frustration and the problem or challenge the user has. This is the most important part. Step 2: Define the problem- what needs have to be met and what questions can you ask that can be answered with actions? Step 3: Ideate- create ideas for innovative solutions, or "thinking outside the box." This is where you dream up wild and daring ideas to address the problem. Step 4: Create a prototype- dream it up and build or create it! Step 5: Test the prototype Step 6: Repeat steps 3 and 5 until a fully working solution is ready |
